Do you like slurping up warm, rich, savory soups? I sure do. My favorite thing about cooking this time of year is having a freezer full of healthy leftovers.
I don’t think I could live without my large oval crockpot and lodge dutch oven (pictured in green). The dutch oven is an enamel lined cast iron pot that works on the stovetop and in the oven. Perfect for braising, roasting, and simmering.
I usually google whatever recipe I’m in the mood for, but I’m also using some of these cookbooks below for inspiration. I’m looking forward to discovering some new recipes this fall, what are you going to make?
