How to get out of your own way (in fitness & in life)

Only you can stop you.

The question isn’t what is in your way or who, or what circumstances past or future are holding you back, or what obstacles you have to overcome, the question is simply, “When are you going to realize the answer is YOU. You are in your own way.”

When you realize that YOU are the only thing standing in your way of reaching your goals — whether it is in fitness, body, strength, family, career, health, athletics, — it will be one GREAT day and a fresh start to a better you.

The good news is you have a choice every day when you wake up ALIVE. You say you have circumstances surrounding you that you cannot control? What can you control? Who can you ask for help? What can you do to make your circumstances better than they were yesterday? Are you taking care of your body that houses your mind and infinite possibilities?

We are saying that the choice is easy. What we are not saying is that changing your actions are always going to be easy, but we will tell you that you CAN. How can you offer others your best in any position if you are not taking care of you in the best way possible through daily exercise, eating properly and feeling energized? When you suffer, everyone else around you suffers. When you thrive, everyone else around you thrives.

The time is now, for there will never be a day without “life,” (thank goodness!), birthdays, travel, deadlines, vacation, kids, wedding, new job etc. What are you waiting for?
